Hey Family
Thanks Jared for the address, I did not have that one..Hope Betsy is doing good as well as you and the "little one". Blair, that story is unreal about the bearded dragon. I guess I do not really know what they are but it is something they lived that long! I know about the snake thing and Ryan's finally died a few months ago so of that I am glad. Jason left yesterday to go back home. Him and Ryan had a really good visit. Eletia, we certainly will be thinking of you next week and pray everything goes as planned. Sorry about the house deal Blair. Maybe another good one will turn up that will be even better. Are April and Zac still looking?? Sure would like to see Caden and Toby soon. Hoping Shavonne is feeling better by now too. Guess Stormy is getting over her toncil deal but Brandon said he and Jill had something too, allergies, head colds or just "West Texas" stuff. They seem to be working hard with their car wash stuff when they are home from their regular jobs. The town has really been quite and business slow this summer. Hope it picks up when school starts. The hospital has laid off several people, in all areas, nursing, housekeeping, office, etc. They do not have enough patients to support the staff they had. One day, they only had one patient so they sent part of the staff home. I bet that patient got the full load. Sure would hate for us to lose the hospital. Downtown changes, Melonie Snodgrass left the chamber and went back to Tom Brian's office. Rhonda Thornhill left Appraisal Dist and Susie Justus is now working there. Brenda Davis is now working at the Chamber Office. Her and Steve are living with his mom, Virginia. I lost my office help, she moved to Snyder so now I am alone and Terry is not going to fill the job again. Got to see both Megan (Sunday night) and Maggie (Monday night) and they say they are doing good. Frank Mullins told me he only had one wrecker call last month. He said the cops have stopped arresting anyone so he does not have any impounds. Ha. Kittie is mowing our grass for us every week so we don't have to pay Percy $45.00 to do it. J W is trying to keep her in tomatoes from his garden. Not much payback, right? She is a jewel and a whiz. Guess I better get back to work.Love to all.Maw
