Hey Family
Here we are July 6 and the holiday fun is all over. It was great to talk to April and Eletia yesterday. Talking to them makes me feel closer to Mike. These have been really tough times for all of us. I did "muster" up the what-ever and went over to Kittie and Gary D the afternoon of July 4. Their patio was decorated with flags, pinwheels, Gary cooking on the grill, everything very festive. It had rained that morning and the temp was not bad at all, very nice outside. Really enjoyed getting to spend some time with Maddie. She is quite the talker, so cute. As long as you talk to her, she replies with baby talk. I can tell she is going to be a little motor mouth for sure. Boston was having a ball with his fire crackers. He stayed on for a few days to visit with Big Mommy and Pappy. Megan and Rodrick were also there of course along with Maggie and Kraig. I tend to leave the adults out and dwell on the kids, Ha. Bet Caden and Toby really enjoyed the fireworks at Hurst.

Assuming everything went well in Florida yesterday. Guess we will get a report later??I am going back to the doctor tomorrow with my knee pain. Went last Monday and she gave me pills to try for a week but it is no better so she may do MRI to see what is going on in there. I also had blood work done just for regular checkup so I'll get results of that too. Eletia I sure hope you get to feeling better. It does not help your outlook when you feel bad too. I love you and fully understand what you are dealing with right now. I can understand why you were not up to the trip this weekend. Just stay in touch, okay?

Guess it is back to work tomorrow and get on with the rest of the summer. I have a baby quilt started for Megan. The theme is "basketball" at her request. Now I will be wating to hear about Betsy's report tomorrow, I believe? Hope you are feeling okay!!
