Hi to all. Hope everyone's week got off to a good start. Yes, Blair. I got in touch with Amy's office and she called me back Friday I think it was. There is a Baptist church Sunday school class in Lubbock that will be making backpacks for kids in foster care and one of the things on their list was a blanket or throw for each one and they didn't have a source yet, so guess what...now they do. I will be getting some quilts together for that and am still sending them to Donna Beth for the children's shelter in San Antonio. So thank you so much for putting me in touch with Amy. It is supposed to turn cold here again tomorrow and maybe some snow Wednesday so that is definitely good quilting weather.
Love to all, Peg :)

I am a former foster child and current child advocate...

Please express my thanks to the Sunday school class who is making backpacks for foster children.

Carrying personal belongings in a garbage bag makes a person feel like... well, like their most treasured belongings are garbage.
